The hotel's refurbished private function rooms offer the ultimate setting for tailor-made meetings, product launches, events and celebrations of all kinds. The historic Palm Court is the biggest ballroom in Copenhagen—and with its beautiful natural light, it is thought to be the best meeting and conference venue in Copenhagen.

The Louis XVI Ballroom is the oldest ballroom at the d'Angleterre, as The Palm Court was formerly a yard used for the guests's horse coaches and carriages.

PALM COURT

The Palm Court's history goes back to the 16th century, where it was then a grand mansion garden owned by the rich Chancellor Frederik Ahlefeldt. Later, the garden was made into a hall of glass and in 1902 it was decorated as a palm court.

Its rich history is a tale of the many prominent guests and historic events held here throughout the years. The interior design at the Palm Court features the largest glass mosaic roof in Europe, created by the Italian glass artist Albano Poli. The Palm Court hosts up to 400 guests and in conjunction with the adjacent Gallery and Louis XVI salons, it can accommodate up to 580 guests.
